Terms of Use

By using Ovation, you agree to the rules below. They keep the community safe. We enforce them.

Who can use Ovation

You must be 13 or older to use Ovation. By creating an account you confirm that you are.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abuse

Ovation has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. If you post, send, or share content that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, threatening, illegal, spam, or otherwise objectionable, your account will be removed.

Examples of content we don't allow: hate speech, threats, sexual content, content that targets minors, harassment, impersonation, and spam.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for everything you send through Ovation: the clips you pick, the voice recordings you make, the audio files you upload, and the locations you share.

Voice ovations must be your own voice or content you have the right to share. Don't impersonate, threaten, or send recordings of someone who hasn't agreed to being recorded.

Don't send ovations to people who have asked you to stop. Don't try to get around blocks, reports, or account removals.

Your profile photo must be yours to use and appropriate. The same content rules apply to it.

Content you upload and intellectual property

When you record or upload audio, you confirm that you own it or have the rights to use and share it. Before each upload you are asked to confirm this.

Do not upload or send content you don't have the rights to, including songs, recordings, shows, podcasts, or other copyrighted material that isn't yours. Ovation is for your own voice and clips you have the right to share, not for distributing other people's media.

You keep ownership of what you create. You grant Ovation a limited license to store and deliver your ovation to the recipient you choose, for as long as it exists (voice ovations are deleted automatically after 24 hours).

We remove content that infringes someone's rights and we terminate repeat infringers.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Ovation infringes your copyright, email clarkanada@gmail.com with a description of the work, where it appears in the app, and your contact information. We review and act on these promptly.

Reporting and blocking

You can report any user or any ovation directly from the app. Tap the report icon on a message or on someone's profile.

You can block any user. Once blocked, they can't send you ovations and you won't see them in the app.

We review reports within 24 hours and take action, including content removal and account termination, when our rules are broken.

Account removal

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, your sent and received ovations, and any Radius drops tied to your account.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.
